We started as a small diamond manufacturing workshop. Today we're a Canadian-owned and Canadian-made jeweller, still run by the same belief: every stone we set should be one we'd be proud to wear ourselves.

How we got here

Studdedbay began on the bench — cutting, setting, and finishing diamond jewellery for other retailers long before we sold a single piece under our own name. That manufacturing background is still our foundation: our jewellers handcraft each piece in-house, using 18k gold, platinum, and other high-quality metals.

We didn't move online to sell diamonds. We moved online so more people could buy direct from the people who actually make them.

Every diamond we offer is GIA or IGI certified and sourced under the Kimberley Process, so it's traceable and conflict-free before it ever reaches our gemologists. Being Canadian-made also means no cross-border tariffs or customs delays for our Canadian customers — what you see priced is what you pay.
